2020 quarantena a vent'anni
SYNOPSIS
In quarantine at twenty: home isolation for months during one of the most “exuberant” period in a person’s existence. What do you think? How do you spend your time? If you are a student, a film and reportage student, how do you try to cultivate your creativity? Where do you find stimulation? How do you project yourself into the future, with a little faith?
The short film “Quarantine at twenty”, realized by the Reportage course students of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – Sede Abruzzo, retraces and makes visible these questions through what the young authors themselves have produced in isolation, despite everything: videos, audio and images. A subjective of a pair of slippers slipping inside the house, accelerations of 24 hours condensed into a minute, from the alarm clock to the meals and back to the bed, confessions in front of a lens, talking to themselves, hoping to be heard by someone. And then, the moments in Distance Learning, the rare going outs or the windows that frame the outside world continuously, for months. The film leaves us, just like in real life, with questions about how we faced the period that the whole world has spent in isolation and how we will be able to face months and years to come and what legacy this extraordinary phase will leave to us and to the teenagers, especially.
