Carmine De Ieso was born in Benevento in 1991. He fell in love with cinema during his teenage years thanks mainly to Dario Argento’s films and “Rear Window” by Alfred Hitchcock. At the end of high school he enrolled in Roma Tre University where, after his bachelor degree, he got his master degree in Cinema, Television and Multimedia Production. His studies ended with a degree in Audiovisual Reportage at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia based in L’Aquila. His audio-documentary “La parete nord del Monte Camicia” won the AKU Award at the Blogger Contest 2017.
