The cinema is “an invention without future”. That’s what Antoine Lumière said, father of the famous brothers Louis and August, the day after the first public screenings in 1895. Today, we know that he was wrong. Today, we know that the seventh art is a unique narrative medium which is able to tell, to move people and to make them think. When the light turns off the journey starts, this is, and always will be, the magic of cinema.
