SYNOPSIS
Two documentary filmmakers set out for Mount Velino (Abruzzo, Italy) to retrace the stories of climbers who lost their lives there. The journey of Cecilia and Marco becomes both an exploration of fear and beauty, and a way to mourn a close friend who died in the mountains. Personal quest intertwines with the collective tragedy of lives lost at high altitudes, in search of the sublime that has always driven humankind to risk everything for the heights.
