SYNOPSIS
Martina, an Italian student dealing every day with her job and small family problems, hides herself in an online role playing game that helps her, through an avatar, to face her fears and desires and to discover herself. The young girl’s journey is accompanied by Federico Tonioni’s considerations, a psychiatrist and director of a clinic for internet addiction treatment at Gemelli Polyclininc in Rome. He explains causes and possible cures for the girl’s pathology and relates himself, in the role of expert and mentor, to real life fragments and to the questions that Martina asks herself about love, growth and future.
