Every day he came home after five o’ clock and when he fell asleep at night I thanked God for earning one day more». That’s the start of the story of one of the guests at the domestic violence shelter house. Thanks to this centre a woman managed to disappear from her daily life towards her protection. She ran away from her husband who was abusing her every day, just like one ran away from war.
