Dyspnea

There are moments in life that bring you closer to another person in a deep and visceral way, especially in a father-son relationship. Those moments, when you experience them, you recognize them. But life is bound to flow and those moments to fade away just as it does for people. In the end, the memories remain. “Dyspnea” is a documentary constructed from underwater stock footage from the director’s father’s digital archive. The images are woven into an intimate, fuzzy, sweet and fierce narrative. The lack of oxygen and attachment to life make it candidly human.
